Ron Gross first wrote about the Jupiter 2 in the September 1997 issue of Scale Modeler, where he discussed the creation of his own scratchbuilt Jupiter 2.  Later, he went on to work with Polar Lights in creating their model kit.  His reserch, as well as involvement with Polar Lights  is  described in the December 1999 issue ofSci-Fi and Fantasy Models International [Issue 41] Ron describes the following prototype construction information as the  "missing" section of of the SFMI article.   Read the full article.
