LOWER DECK-
The lower deck was a must in my Jupiter 2, the floor circle here was
easier and done only one time, due to it's small size. I used a
soup can for the circle. Here I followed the elevator cage from the
upper deck and cut and shaped it to the correct shape. Both elevator
cages were painted with aluminum trim on the details then dipped
in FUTURE to make them more transparent. I used the Jim James decals
down here as well, and scratch built a wall in the science lab, and the
stateroom beds, with aluminum foil for the mylar blankets. The
beds were made with strips of plastic sheet. The lower
viewport now that it is cut out, sure gives the ship a bold look.
