Graveyard Scenes Minimize

New from Night Owl and CultTVman are these two Graveyard Scenes bases. They will make their debut at Wonderfest. The bases are sold separately and come with a mini-comic illustrated by Jim Craig. The Girl is a new kit produced by Night Owl and CultTVman and is sold separately. She will also be debuting at Wonderfest. The Wolfman is a resin reproduction of the Monsters of the Movies kit coming from Creature Arts. Figures and bases are sold separately.

Also new from CultTVman and Night Owl are Castle Panels. This is a series of resin panels that can be mix and matched to create various different diorama scenes. Each wall section is 8 x 4 inches and the floor tiles are 4 x 4 inches. There are three different style wall panels: Wall, Wall with door, and Wall with Window. The Castle Panels Starter Set comes with 1 of each wall style and 2 floor panels.

New Moebius Photos Minimize

Another Moebius Update Minimize

CultTVman has a little more news to share from Moebius Models!

First, there will be a new 1:350 scale Seaview coming late this summer. The box art is by Ron Gross and can be seen over at Hobbytalk

There is a special edition Blue Frankenstein kit from the recent FX show that can be purchased at the Moebius Club Store

And a little more news has emerged on the Jupiter 2.  It will have a detailed upper level only, and has been fully designed to accomodate lighting.

News from Moebius Models Minimize

..

Over the past week, a few bits of news has leaked out with regards to upcoming Moebius Models projects. CultTVman is happy to bring you a brief round of the news. Look for further details as the official announcements are made.

First, Moebius Models is working on a Jupiter 2 kit and CultTVman has a few details to pass along.  The image above was in a recent trade magazine, offering the first hint of the kit.   The art is by Ron Gross.    Dave Metzner has posted that "the design is DONE the mock-up and the tooling plan have been approved, and we're ready to start cutting tooling."    He further says it will be around 18 inches in size with at two piece hull.   Frank Winspur, owner of Moebius posted  "You guys know we can't pass up a J2. With everthing else we have done IA, it is inevitable.  Just give us a little time yet, and I promise you'll get new announcements soon."   There is no word on when this kit will be available.

Second, if you picked up the new issue of Amazing Figure Modeler, there are photos of a new car kit in the works, based on Von Franco "Flying Eyeball" hot rot art.  Check out AFM #44 when you can get it.

Third, photos  of the new Spiderman and Green Goblin kits and the upcoming Mummy art by Basil Gogos has been posted at Hobbytalk.

Please note, there have not been any official announcements on any of this so be sure to keep an eye on the Moebuis website, message board, and My Space pages. CultTVman will also report on any developments.

Round 2 second update Minimize

Just a little more news from Round 2.

It is confirmed by CultTVman that the new kit from Polar Lights this December will be a 1:1000 scale Refit Enterprise. Still no official word from Round 2.

New Releases from Round 2 Minimize

Great news from the folks at Round 2!

First, CultTVman has confirmed from a number of sources that Round 2 will be reissuing the original Aurora Batmobile. Sources tell CultTVman that the kit will be issued in a number of configurations including a replica of the original box, as well as a collectible tin box, and special packaging for mass market. The kits will come out under the Polar Lights brand. Details have not been officially announced or confirmed by Round 2 at this time.

Also from Round 2, the Vulcan Shuttle will be reissued in December and this is confirmed by CultTVman. This kit originally came out at the time of Star Trek the Motion Picture. It was reissued in the early eighties and has not been out since.

CultTVman has also confirmed there will be a second edition of the 18" Enterprise in the Collectible Tin.   There will be some changes to the product for the second edition.

Finally, Round 2 has confirmed to CultTVman that the Akira/Thunderchiled kit that was planned for late 2009 has been postponed in favor of something else. Round 2 is looking at producing a small, less expensive kit that will appeal to fans and builders. It will be a fitting addition to the line up. Look for more news from CultTVman as it becomes available.

Monster Displays Minimize

From Jim and Judy's Horror Models comes The Parts Pit.  This is a display base for 1:13 scale monster figures including the 70's Aurora Monsters.    

From CultTVman and NightOwl comes the Mutant Insect Base, part of the line of Graveyard Scenes bases for displaying various small scale monster models.

Both kits will be available in the CultTVman Hobbyshop.

Glow Nosferatu from Monarch Minimize

The Frightning Lightning long box version of Nosferatu is now available for ordering through the Monarch Models website. The Ghost of Castle Mare is delayed until 2009. The reissues of the seventies Aurora Dracula and Dr. Jekyll kits are progressing through the tooling phase and the new Gorgo is proceeding well.

Apollo CM detail set from New Ware Minimize

The folks at New Ware have been busy this year. They have a new detail set for the exterior of the 1:32 Apollo CM kit from Monogram. This detail kit features 35 resin parts, 73 photoetch parts and a reference CD.

Other new products from New Ware: 1/144 Diamant A,1/144 Jupiter IRBM or Bioflight 2, upgraded 1/32 Apollo CSM decals, 1/72 X-15 tanks decals, and a 1/144 Vanguard
